In addition to regularly performing in a Jazz quintet, she also sings with busy high-level corporate Function Bands. Currently, she is the lead vocalist with The BlunterBrothers and is a member of Odyssey. As a voice over artist, Barbara has provided vocal idents for Internet radio station Solar Radio.

As a vocal tutor and educator, Barbara has worked at the Institute of ContemporaryMusic Performance, ICMP, one of Europe’s leading providers of popular music education for over 15 years. At ICMP, she has written and delivered a range of undergraduate modules covering Vocal Technique, Performance skills and General Musicianship Practice. She also runs a thriving vocal studio and several community-based groups covering individual and group singing lessons and choir. All of which are designed to incorporate personal development and confidence building skills.

As a dedicated performance coach deeply invested in wellbeing and personalgrowth, Barbara embodies a passion for lifelong learning. Inspired by the adventurous spirit of Alice in Wonderland’s White Rabbit, she is perpetually divinginto new explorations and discoveries in her quest as a seeker of knowledge, healing and personal alchemy – knowing there is so much more to learn.

Her areas of interest range from personal growth and mindset development, mental and vocal health awareness, human behaviour and overall mindfulness, resilience & wellbeing.
